TBIG Appoints Honorary Dame Suzanne Snively as New Independent Chair to Lead Strategic Growth

Suzanne brings over 30 years of extensive experience in governance, economics, and consulting, having held various senior leadership positions across multiple sectors including public policy, finance, and social justice. Her proven track record in steering organisations through growth phases, implementing robust governance frameworks, and fostering innovation aligns perfectly with TBIG’s goals.

In her role, Suzanne will oversee TBIG’s board activities, providing strategic guidance and ensuring robust corporate governance. This appointment is part of TBIG’s broader strategy to strengthen its leadership and enhance its capacity to deliver large-scale, complex projects with precision and efficiency. She has committed the remainder of her career to supporting New Zealand’s growth in a sustainable and viable way, making her a perfect fit for TBIG.

Suzanne’s career has been marked by significant roles including from her first governance role as a Director of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, her time as Chief Economist at Jarden, and as a partner at PwC, where she gained invaluable insights into equity markets and corporate finance. Her experience working with government agencies, providing strategic advice including on capital investment decisions and her involvement in modelling New Zealand’s housing market provide her with a unique perspective highly relevant to TBIG’s operations.
