Abigail Richards awarded Highly Commended at NAWIC Excellence Awards 2024

We’re celebrating an outstanding achievement for Project Manager Abigail Richards, who was awarded Highly Commended in the Rising Star – Office Award category at the National Association of Women in Construction NZ (NAWIC) Excellence Awards. The Excellence Awards attract hundreds of nominations each year with many in this category making it one of the most entered and hotly contested categories.

TBIG’s Stuart Lyons said of the win: "Abi’s commendation is a huge achievement. She was recognised in front of her peers in what was another sell-out, highly-anticipated annual gala, attended by a huge range of building and construction companies."

The NAWIC Excellence Awards provide an opportunity for organisations and individuals to celebrate the amazing mahi of wāhine in construction across Aotearoa. Over 550 people were in attendance from across the motu, with 32 award recipients on the night.
