Wakatipu High School – PPP2

The new build Wakatipu High School was delivered under the PPP2 model. As the Ministry of Education’s representative, our role was to engage with the PPP2 Consortium, and the school to ensure a smooth run to completion.

We quickly gained the trust of the school and advised on key design/build challenges and pulled together the many facets of the project into a single reference document. We steered the School Senior Leadership team through a number of processes which were new territory, notably moving to an ILE environment, and the PPP process itself. 

Innovative facilities include a large theatre, dance and recording studio, rock climbing wall, science labs and technology spaces.

Acting in the role of Ministry Representative, The Building Intelligence Group turned around potential end-user/operational issues into a project success story.
