A new landmark hotel to be called The Langlands, is underway by the Invercargill Licensing Trust and it will anchor and revitalise the city. 

The complexity and scale of the project saw ILT enlist The Building Intelligence Group as project managers to bring independent leadership to this flagship project. The project team making it happen includes Leighs Construction and Warren and Mahoney. Thanks to Leighs for the bird’s eye view photos of the build taking place.

The 3,000m2 site on the corner of Dee and Don Streets is an optimal CBD location and construction commenced in October 2019. Stage one of the seven storey development will contain 80 guest rooms, function / conference facilities, rooftop function space with terracing, carparking and eateries and bars. Invercargill is excited about its arrival.
