Michael Gilbertson
Senior Project Manager
Michael is a Senior Project Manager and valued member of TBIG’s Hawke’s Bay team, with extensive experience delivering complex civic, commercial, workplace, seismic strengthening and heritage projects for both public and private sector clients.
With over a decade of experience, Michael has played a key role in delivering major developments regionally and nationally for local government, central government, and private sector clients. His experience includes projects incorporating leading sustainability, resilience and innovation outcomes, including Green Star and NABERS-rated developments, mass timber construction and low-damage seismic design.
Michael is currently helping deliver Napier City Council’s landmark Te Kete Civic Precinct development and provides leadership across project planning, procurement, design management, stakeholder engagement, contract administration and construction delivery. Known for his collaborative approach and practical mindset, he excels at bringing project teams together to successfully deliver complex projects from concept and business case development through to construction completion and handover.
Michael is based in our Napier team.
