Andrew Howie - Business Manager Strategic Advisory

Andrew leads our national Strategic Advisory Business Unit. As a significant figure in the strategic advisory space, he provides specialist commercial and procurement advice to clients on their high value and strategically important projects.

Andrew’s 27+ years career spans development from the ground up, with a construction and management background, morphing into large scale development project leadership.

In his former role as Manager of the Commercial Pool for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, Andrew was an influential and commercially respected voice, leading strong procurement and property thinking and he has sat on many investment, construction, governance and advisory panels. He has provided specialist commercial and procurement advice to Government agencies and Ministries on their high value and strategically important projects in his former role as Manager of the Commercial Pool for MBIE.

There is strong demand for Strategic Advisory services across all phases of projects, as clients look to interrogate projects at the concept stage and throughout the life-cycle of a project with rigor. We see Andrew’s understanding in the advisory space as second-to-none in the Wellington region.
