GREERTON AMBULATORY CARE FACILITY
Te Whatu Ora staff have moved into the stage 1 single-level space of the new Ambulatory Care Facility in Greerton. This location is central to Tauranga, close to a number of other medical facilities and the Tauranga Hospital.
TBIG provided Project Management services for the Greerton Ambulatory Care Facility fitout works over 519m2. Our team successfully co-ordinated the engineering and architectural disciplines from concept to final design, lodged and managed the Building Consent process, were involved in the main contractor procurement process, managed the main contractors tenant fitout work and some landlord investment in the property.
The name of the facility is Te Pa Harakeke. Harakeke recognises flax and the flaxbush, symbolic of a growing family unit which binds together, weaving, bring strength and binding people together, bringing together many different clinical services which will be delivered from the facility. This narrative has been represented throughout the fitout with the selection of colours, autex design and artwork.
TBIG’s project administration and attention to detail was instrumental in delivering a well-coordinated, efficient and cost effective project that was on time and on budget.
